He was appointed Serjeant-at-Arms (temporary) in the Saskatchewan Legislature in 1941. Additional biographical information on Nicholson is included with the photograph.

POW - Behind Canadian Barbed Wire

The 2004 edition of a publication written by David J. Carter and published by Eagle Butte Press Co. The book was originally published in 1980 under the title "Behind Canadian Barbed Wire". The publication relates to alien, refugee and prisoner of war camps in Canada from 1914-1920 and 1939-1946 and includes names of prisoners of war who died while under Canadian control and names of prisoners of war buried in Canada.

Excerpts: A collection of excerpts created by Dick Bird, the National Film Board and Cherry Film Productions. There is also much unidentified footage of unknown origin. Includes scenes of aerials of the prairies and the Legislative Building, cattle ranching, harvest scenes, war footage from World War One and World War Two, automobile races at the Regina Exhibition horse race track (1920s), motorcycle hill climbing competition at Moose Jaw (1920s), a man driving a horse-drawn grain cart to a grain elevator and interior scenes of the grain elevator (1920s).
