Jean-Louis Légaré (1841-1918) was a fur trader and merchant of Wood Mountain and one of the founding members of Willow Bunch, Saskatchewan. He induced Sitting Bull to surrender.

Individuals in the photo include: Mde. Gagné, Jos. Boucher, Pascal Bonneau, Marie Gagné, (bottom) Alex McGillis, and Adonis Poquet (Paquette). Adonis worked on Légaré's ranch.
