First Kronau Wheat Pool Committee

Composite photograph of the members of the first Kronau Wheat Pool Committee in 1926, including George Betcher, Manuel Ringstad, G.R. Kennedy, Jim McCall, W.S. McIntosh, Ole O. Hesla, Jacob Wettstein and E.E. Frisk. Included are images of Eldon Nixon, a Pool agent; the homestead of Henry Bruggerman in the Kronau district; and the Saskatchewan Pool elevator in Kronau.

The composite photograph was assembled by Leonard Gunstenson of Regina, Saskatchewan in memory of his grandfather, Ole O. Hesla, ca. 1998.

Cooperation and its Adaptation to Our Circumstances

Booklet containing a published letter to farmers of western Canada, written by E.A. Partridge of Sintaluta, Assiniboia District, North-West Territories. In his letter, Partiridge proposes the initiation of a co-operative joint stock company for the purposes of buying, selling and brokering of seed grains, farm produce and agricultural machinery.
