Images taken by Ivan Saunders of views of downtown Regina, Saskatchewan, likely from the observation deck of the Saskatchewan Power Building, located at 2025 Victoria Avenue (Scarth Street and Victoria Avenue). (1) Looking north, with views of Scarth and Hamilton Streets and 12th Avenue. Buildings on or adjacent to Scarth Street include: the McCallum-Hill Building; the Federal Building; Capitol Theatre; King's Hotel; and the Old City Hall. Buildings on Hamilton Street include the LaSalle Hotel and Leader-Post Building; (2) looking south, with views of Scarth and Cornwall Streets. Buildings on Scarth Street include: Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church (spire and rooftop); and the Bank of Nova Scotia. Buildings in the distance include the Regina campus of the University of Saskatchewan on College Avenue, and the Saskatchewan Legislative Building in Wascana Park.
