Disasters of the Century, Episode #3

Television series: Episode # 3, entitled Final Destination. Recounts the fire on-board the S.S Noronic cruise ship, docked in Toronto Harbour on September 17, 1949 which killed 119 American passengers; and the mid-air crash of a NATO training plane and Trans-Canada Airlines Filght 9 over Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on April 8, 1954. Killed were the NATO pilot, the thirty-six people on-board the Trans-Canada Airline plane and on person on the ground. The segment on the Moose Jaw crash includes photographs from the Saskatchewan Archives' Historical Photographs collection.
