CKCK-TV script for production re: Saskatchewan Legislative Building

Production cues and script, created by CKCK-TV, for the filming of a televsion program featuring a tour of the Saskatchewan Legislative Building at Regina. The television program was the first of a series entitled, Saskatchewan in Review, that aimed to introduce to the public the unusual features of well-known buildings and places in Regina and district. Those interviewed for the program include Dr. Lewis H. Thomas, Provincial Archivist, and George Stephen, Clerk of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan.

Corner Gas television show sets

(1)-(10): Images of the various outdoor sets in the fictional town of Dog River used for the television sitcom, Corner Gas, filmed in Rouleau, Saskatchewan. Includes the Foo Mart grocery store; Pigeons Cafe; water tower; grain elevator; Ruby Cafe and gas station; police station; Dog River hotel and bar; and Oscar and Emma Leroy's house.

(11)-(18), (20)-(32): Images of the Corner Gas set at the Canada - Saskatchewan Production Studios in Regina. Includes images of actor Josh Strait, who played the character of Josh the Cook and was the tour guide at the production studio. Includes interior and exterior shots of Oscar and Emma Leroy's house; and interior shots of The Ruby Cafe and the police station.

Views showing the taping of "Farming in the 70's" an agricultural information program, produced by the Saskatchewan Department of Agriculture at the CKCK-TV television studio at Regina. Hosts of the program are C.M. (Red) Williams, senior extension specialist and professor of animal science at the University of Saskatchewan, and Brian A. Duck (right), a livestock specialist with the Department of Agriculture.

This fonds consists of records created, accumulated and used by Minds Eye Entertainment and its predecessors, Regina Motion Picture, Video & Sound Ltd. and Minds Eye Pictures, in its business operations in Regina, Saskatchewan between 1987 and 2012. The records largely pertain to the production of various television movies, series and mini-series, and feature films. Additional records pertain to Minds Eye's short documentaries, commercials, product videos, music videos and corporate training videos. Business records include: publicity material pertaining to various productions; information on Minds Eye's participation in film awards and festivals; as well as its advocacy and community involvement projects.

The fonds consists of fifty-five series.

The types of records included are: film, video and audio raw footage, work tapes, elements and masters; photographic prints, negatives, slides, transparencies and contact sheets; scripts, production files, and publicity files; digital raw production footage; digital photographs and cutlines; and digital versions of production releases and screeners.
