Corner Gas television show sets

(1)-(10): Images of the various outdoor sets in the fictional town of Dog River used for the television sitcom, Corner Gas, filmed in Rouleau, Saskatchewan. Includes the Foo Mart grocery store; Pigeons Cafe; water tower; grain elevator; Ruby Cafe and gas station; police station; Dog River hotel and bar; and Oscar and Emma Leroy's house.

Includes images of actor Josh Strait, who played the character of Josh the Cook and was the tour guide at the production studio. This fonds consists of records created, accumulated and used by Lori Kuffner in her roles as a television and documentary producer between 1992 and 2010. The majority of the records reflect her work as a producer/writer/director with and president of Cooper Rock Pictures Inc. (1999-2010), with a small volume of records from her work as a producer with Independent Moving Pictures Inc. (1993-1998) and as a contract producer for other productions (1992-2004).

The fonds has been arranged into three series: Cooper Rock Pictures Inc.; Independent Moving Pictures Inc.; and Other Production Companies.

The types of records in this fonds include: videocassettes; digital photographs; photographic prints and negatives; transcripts of interviews; research materials; digital video files; audio reels and cassettes; a study guide and promotional pamphlets.

This fonds consists of records created, accumulated and used by Partners in Motion, a film and video production company based in Regina, Saskatchewan, between 1993 and 2006. It primarily consists of original camera negatives, but also includes master dubs, master copies, and audio voice-overs for various productions created by Partners in Motion.

The fonds also consists of film and video productions from the mid-1980s to 1993 that current employees of Partners in Motion were involved in creating. These films and videos were produced by CKCK Creative Services, Sunspirit Productions, and Halfbreed Inc.

Two series have been identified in the fonds: Crime Stories, and Disasters of the Century. These series were created due to the large volume of records belonging to these two television series produced by Partners in Motion. The numerous other productions have been described at the item level.

The types of records included are: film reels; video reels; video cassettes; audio cassettes; negative and processing reports; print advertisements for productions; and a product catalogue.
