Cookbooks collected by Mary Ewert of Herbert, Saskatchewan. Ewert immigrated from Oklahoma to Canada in the 1920s and settled with her husband, Leonard Ewert, in the area around Gouldtown, Saskatchewan. The Ewerts later moved to Herbert, where Leonard farmed and operated the movie theatre. Mary Ewert was well known in the Herbert community as an excellent cook and baker. These cookbooks were part of her collection of approximately 50 cookbooks.

Doris Silcox fonds

This fonds consists of records created, accumulated and used by Doris Silcox during her term on the Saskatchewan Department of Culture and Youth's Local Histories Selection and Advisory Committee. The fonds consists mainly of copies of manuscripts given to Silcox for review. Correspondence and Silcox's notes containing her comments and suggested corrections and revisions accompany the manuscripts. Also included is correspondence with the Executive Director of the Cultural Activities Branch, with the Cultural Conservation Co-ordinator and concerning the Moose Mountain Uplands Oral History Project and the Carlyle Community Profile.
