Norman Mackenzie Art Gallery Presents: Victor Cicansky Clay Sculpture

Saskatchewan artist Victor Cicansky is interviewed in his studio by Kevin Forrest regarding his work and the use of the press mould in the creative process. Cicansky is shown working on a series of clay jars and vegetables typically found in a root cellar. Produced for the Norman Mackenzie Art Gallery in Regina with assistance from Cable Regina.

File including draft typewritten manuscript written by Pearl Guest of Regina, Saskatchewan relating to her years in the Saskatchewan Sanatorium (1926-1933).File includes photographs of the exterior of Fort San, the tuberculosis sanatorium near Fort Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan; a view of Echo Lake; an exterior view of the Saskatoon Sanatorium; and some patients and nurses.

File containing articles written by Pearl Guest and published mainly in The Leader-Post, Regina. The articles are entitled Chief Piapot's memorial; Disease Saboteurs; Two crosses above a sea of wheat: Life and times of Captain John Powell, pioneer; Three little men subject of story; and Stately whooping crane replicas remembered. File also includes Spring 1978 issue of the Saskatchewan Anti-Tuberculosis League News Quarterly which includes an article on the closure of the Saskatoon Sanatorium as a treatment centre for tuberculosis; copy of article by Pearl Guest entitled Silk train races clock; and two draft manuscripts written by Pearl Guest entitled The Way of a Bird; and Little Wings.
