This fonds consists of personal records created, accumulated and used from 1889 to 1992 by Hugh D. Adams. The records were mainly created during his residence in Shamrock, Saskatchewan and British Columbia and relate to his personal business and estate, military service and activities as an artist and musician.

The types of records included are correspondence, certificates, newsletters, photographs, sketchbooks, watercolor paintings, pencil and ink drawings and financial records.
