This fonds consists of records created, accumulated and used by the Saskatchewan Anti-Tuberculosis League in its operations at its head office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and at its three sanatoria at Fort Qu'Appelle (Fort San), Saskatoon and Prince Albert between 1916 and 1986. It includes records of the League's administration; its annual Christmas Seals campaigns; its participation on boards and committees of the Canadian Lung Association; its collaboration with the Associated Canadian Travellers; its presidents Dr. R.G.(George) Ferguson, Dr. G. Dudley Barnett, and Dr. John Orr; the League's newsletter The Valley Echo (and related correspondence and submissions); tuberculosis x-ray surveys; and grain dust surveys.

The types of records included are administrative records; reports; correspondence; minutes; newsletters; publications; surveys; studies; films; video cassettes and an audiotape.

No series assignment has been applied to the records described old guide GS 187. However, the following headings were used for descriptions completed in 1988: Christmas Seals; Administration; Canadian Lung Association; Associated Canadian Travellers; Valley Echo: Correspondence and Submissions; Equipment and Space; Dr. R.G. Ferguson's Files; Dr. W. Barnett's Files; Dr. John Orr's Files; General Office Files; Tuberculosis X-Ray Surveys; Publications; and Grain Dust Survey (Restricted).

R-E1597 consists of issues of The Valley Echo from 1933 to 1967.

S-F41.1 consists of a history of the Saskatchewan Anti-Tuberculosis League entitled The People Versus the White Plague 1911-1961.

S-Q401 consists of a souvenir program for the Golden Anniversary of the Saskatchewan Anti-Tuberculosis League, 1911-1961; and a copy of The People Versus the White Plague 1911-1961.
