Letters to Peter and Florence Swain from Henri Letourneau

Original letters written to Peter and Florence Swain by Henri Letourneau of St. Boniface, Manitoba. The letters include information on the St. Boniface Museum, where Letourneau served as the first curator; the weather; personal affairs; and recollections of Letourneau's time working at the 76 Ranch at Crane Lake, Saskatchewan from August 1928 to November 1930. The Swains' farmed on Skull Creek, south-east of Piapot, and later resided in Maple Creek. Mr. Letourneau (1907-2002) was acquainted with Peter Swain's father, Francois-Xavier (Frank) Swain.
