Scope and content

This series consists of records created, accumulated and used by Gruending in his work as a radio news reporter, interviewer and host, radio producer, and television reporter during the 1980s. Also included is lecture material for a class in the Journalism School at the University of Regina from 1985 and records from a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) television producer's training course.

The types of records included are correspondence, ratings, surveys, programme material and notes.

Audio recordings (see R-15,481 to R-15,517; and R-15,529) from Gruending's career in radio, primarily with the CBC are found elsewhere in the fonds outside of defined series. These records were described in 2002.
