[Project 142 - Yorkton Provincial Building]

Interior and exterior of the Yorkton Provincial Building, Yorkton, which housed offices of the Departments of Public Health, Government Services, Industry and Commerce, Agriculture, Attorney General, Cooperation and Cooperative Development, Culture and Youth, Education, Finance, Labour, Municipal Affairs, Natural Resources as well as the Human Resources Development Agency, the Municipal Roads Assistance program, the Highway Traffic Board, Saskatchewan Crop Insurance, the Saskatchewan Hospital Plan, and the Core Services Division. Photographs were taken by architect William F. Kelly as part of a project that saw renovations done to the building.

Historical note on Saskatchewan House (Government House) in Regina compiled by A.R. Turner, Archives Division, Legislative Library, September 1958 (2 copies). Government House was officially opened by T.C. Douglas on October 25, 1958 as "Saskatchewan House", a centre for continuous learning under the direction of the Adult Education Division of the Department of Education.
