C.C.F. Women's Clubs records

Records of a Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (C.C.F.) Women's Club, established in Saskatoon ca. 1937. Includes: minutes of Lorne Ave. C.C.F. Women's Group, April 20, 1937-May 5, 1938; treasurers' book for C.C.F. Citywide Women's Group, Saskatoon, August 1944-November 1959; guest book, ca. 1959; correspondence from Vern Metheral to Margaret (Mrs. H.J.) Benson regarding the Women's Club and the early years of the C.C.F. Youth Movement; and the January 6, 1938 issue of The New Era, the newspaper of the Saskatchewan C.C.F.

A small volume of records of the Nutana New Democratic Party Women's Club, created and accumulated between 1973 and 1976, is included in the file.

As well, a pamphlet for Helmer J. Benson's candidacy in the Melville constituency during the 1945 Federal election is included in the file.
