A ceremony, held on the grounds of the Saskatchewan Legislative Building, unveiling a bronze plaque that commemorates the visit of Their Majesties Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh to Saskatchewan in July, 1959. Participating in the ceremony was Hon. Frank L. Bastedo, Lieutenant-Governor of Saskatchewan.

Close-up views of a plaque that was installed as part of a monument honouring the contributions of surveyors to the settlement of the province of Saskatchewan, and to recognize the work of the Saskatchewan Land Surveyors Association. The monument also included a time capsule deposited at the monument site on March 28, 1968 with the intention that it be opened in 2067 for Canada's bi-centennial. The monument was designed and constructed by the Wascana Centre Authority and stand within Wascana Centre at Regina.
