Scope and content

This series consists of records created, accumulated and used by the Photographic Services Agency of the Government of Saskatchewan. The series includes records created by the Visual Education Branch of the Department of Education, the Department of Travel and Information, the Department of Industry and Information, and subsequent government departments. Subject matter of the images includes: people, places and events in Saskatchewan; scenic views; towns and cities; government buildings; the Saskatchewan Legislative Assembly; government officials, including Members of Legislative Assembly, Cabinet ministers and premiers; portraits of civil servants; industry; Royal visits; recreation; and copy work for other government departments.
