Transcript of a tape recorded interview of Arthur E. Friend (1884-1975) made by Douglas Bocking on October 5, 1971. Friend emigrated from England, homesteaded, and established a blacksmith business in Perdue. He served for many years on town council and as Mayor of Perdue. Friend reminisces about his experiences.
