Lullaby for Pi series

This series consists of records pertaining to Lullaby for Pi, a feature film co-produced by Forecast Pictures and Minds Eye Entertainment. A romantic drama, it tells the story of the relationship between a recently-widowed musician and an artist. Lullaby for Pi was shot in Regina, Saskatchewan and Winnipeg, Manitoba. It was an official selection of the 2010 Pusan International Film Festival.

The executive producers of Lullaby for Pi were Yee Yeo Chang, Frédérique Dumas-Zajdela, Nicolas Manuel and Olivier Piasentin. Its producers were Kevin DeWalt, Jean-Charles Lévy and Christine Vachon. It was directed and written by Benoît Philippon. The director of photography was Michel Amathieu, and the editor was Frédéric Thoraval. The cast of Lullaby for Pi included Rupert Friend, Clémence Poésy, Matt Ward, Forest Whitaker, Sarah Wayne Callies and Colin Lawrence.

Textual records consist of: Regina office files including script, one-line schedule and day-out-of-days, continuity one-liner, script clearance, shooting schedule, and crew list; Regina and Winnipeg day files; and Winnipeg office files including loss, daily negative reports, damage and accident reports, crew list, insurance documents, shooting schedule, and cast report summaries.

Photographs include: headshots of cast members; scene mock-ups; and location photos. The location photos were taken mainly in Winnipeg. Location photos taken in Regina include shots of the projection booth at Rainbow Cinemas; interior views of an apartment at 2135 Halifax Street; and interior views of The Distrikt Nightclub on Hamilton Street. The moving image record is a 8 mm film to video transfer tape of footage treated and not treated with Flicker. Electronic records consist of camera roll "dailies" transfers for shooting days 1 to 19 and 26 to 29.
