Histories, compiled by Eldon G. Owens of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, of the Lindale School District No. 63, established in 1962, and the school districts surrounding Moose Jaw that amalgamated to form part of the district. Titles for the two parts of the history are: History of the Moose Jaw Rural School Attendance Area, Later Known as the Lindale Elementary School District No. 63; and Homesteaders School Days, 1900 to 1987.

File includes document entitled History of Lindale School, 1946-1981, compiled from information provided by Eldon Owens and a business card and newspaper article relating to the Lindale 25th Anniversary Reunion in July, 1987.

John Edwards reminiscences

Reminiscences of John Edwards of Findlater, Saskatchewan. Edwards recalls relocating as a boy from Winnipeg, Manitoba to Moose Jaw, North-West Territories in 1883, homesteading in the Tuxford district, summers at Kedleston Beach, relocating to the Findlater district in 1888, and ranching near Maple Creek for a period in the late 1890s. The reminiscences were recalled in an interview conducted by the Saskatchewan Archives Board on November 5, 1962.
