Essay entitled, The Port of Missing Men in the Old Northwest: The Splendid Work of the Mounted Police. Profiles the work of the North-West Mounted Police in investigating the whereabouts of men who emigrated from England in the late 1880s and, through various circumstances, stopped communicating with their families back in England who then reported them as missing.

An audio recording of Berry Richards of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan speaking for The History of the Minerals Industry in Saskatchewan Oral History Project, created under the Towards a New Past Programme of the Saskatchewan Department of Culture and Youth. Richards describes the disappearance of Absolum (Abbie) Halkett and James Brady in June 1967 while they were conducting a minerals exploration on lower Foster Lake, the subsequent search and theories as to what happened to them.
