Weaving the West

Reminiscences of Marion "May" (Merryfield) Dash, published in the Kipling Citizen newspaper between December, 1953 and February, 1954. Dash recalls her family's emigration in April, 1883 from England to Indian Head, Assiniboia District, North-West Territories, her father's work at the Bell Farm and her subsequent years homesteading in the Broadview district. She also mentions that her father, Walter Merryfield, was one of the selected jurors for the Louis Riel trail of 1885.
