Patrick Gammie Laurie

Typewritten copy of the biographical sketch of Patrick Gammie Laurie that was published in his newspaper, "Saskatchewan Herald," around the time of his death May 20, 1903. Submitted to John Hawkes of Regina, Provincial Librarian, by William Laurie of Cardston, Alberta, June 21, 1923.

A paper prepared, before 1948, by Effie Charlotte Laurie (Mrs. J. H. Storer) entitled, "Rebellion". It relates to her father, Patrick Gammie Laurie's experiences leading up to and during the 1885 North-West Rebellion.

Handwritten notes (including an information sheet regarding the origin of these notes) on a University of Manitoba Algebra paper (1883) that were prepared for the Saskatchewan Herald by Patrick Laurie, the editor. Some of the items were used in the issue of August 18, 1883 (Vol. V, No. 19).
