Biographical history

Kathleen M.A. Laubach (nee Rogers) was born in Indian Head, North-West Territories (now known as Saskatchewan) around 1901. She attended Regina Collegiate Institute in Regina, Saskatchewan for one year around 1918. She married Wilfred Allan “Fred” Laubach, youngest son of Frank Laubach, who was well known in musical circles in Regina. Kathleen Laubach later resided in British Columbia, where she died in January 1994. Kathleen and Wilfred Laubach had four children: Allan; Anna; Enid and Billie.

Custodial history

Anna Sumpton, daughter of Kathleen M.A. Laubach, donated some of these records to the Regina office, Saskatchewan Archives in one accession in 1994: R94-177 (May 17, 1994).

Scope and content

This collection consists of records accumulated and used by Kathleen M.A. Laubach, formerly of Regina, Saskatchewan. The types of records included are clippings, programmes, sheet music, a yearbook, a publication, photographs and biographical information on the Laubach family.

No series assignment was applied to the records in this collection.

Most of the records are in good physical condition. The Regina Collegiate Institute yearbook is mouldy.

Immediate source of acquisition

Kathleen M.A. Laubach donated some of these records to the Regina office, Saskatchewan Archives in one accession in 1993: R93-297 (August 18, 1993).
