J. Edison Phonograph advertisement shows different views and models of phonograph players, a photograph of Thomas Edison, and an image of a group (family) around a phonograph with children dancing near the player and a figure in blackface appearing to come out of the horn of the phonograph.

C.W. Lindsay advertisement shows a piper dressed in a kilt, sporran, plume hat, garter flashes and draped with tartan cloth.
