Documentary profiling a peer literacy training program for First Nations male prisoners at the Prince Albert Correctional Centre in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Delivered in cooperation with the Prince Albert Indian and Métis Friendship Centre, the program encourages literacy as a means of building empowerment in inmates while in prison and upon release. Interviewees include: David Simpson, Director, Prince Albert Correctional Centre; Karen Dvorak, Literacy Coordinator, Prince Albert Correctional Centre; Bernice Sayese, Prince Albert Indian and Métis Friendship Centre; and several unidentified inmates.
