This fonds consists mainly of records created, accumulated and used by Clarence B. Fairbairn during his professional career as a reporter, editor and managing editor of the "Western Producer" newspaper in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The types of records included are newspaper clippings and editorials, notes about the newspaper, and many photographs, negatives, and slides, including negative albums and high quality 2 x 2 inch colour slides.
