[Excavation of an Early Hudson's Bay Company Trading Post near Lac La Ronge]

A fireplace is excavated from the remains of an early Hudson's Bay Company trading post on the mainland opposite Kenderdine Island, Lac La Ronge. Fred Bard, Curator of the Museum of Natural History, Regina excavates fireplace while Jim Cloutier, conservation officer in Lac La Ronge, lists items found.
