Wood Mountain Historic Park. A history of Wood Mountain Historic Park, which was opened by the Saskatchewan Department of Natural Resources in 1965. This park commemorates the North West Mounted Police who had a post at Wood Mountain, where they could monitor the international boundary. This post was largely responsible for monitoring Sitting Bull's Sioux Indians after they fled into Canada following the Battle at Little Big Horn.
