Item component is an article on medical care development in Lloydminster, in particular the efforts to establish and fund hospital care and the activities of councillor and later mayor D. G. Tuckwell.

Article is supplemented by photographs showing an early view of Lloydminster, the Lloydminster hospital in 1909, the new "union" hospital in Lloydminster (1917 or after), and D. G. Tuckwell with wife, son, daughter and two granddaughters.

Item is a photo reproduction of a sheet (appearing to promote immigration to Canada) that includes a photograph showing a trainload of settlers from the United States upon their arrival in Winnipeg. Some settlers are shown standing and sitting atop the rail cars with others standing beside the cars, two persons are seated on adjacent rails. Ten of the rail cars have banners affixed to their side; caption below the image identifies the slogans that were used.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police

Images depicting members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) engaged in various activities, including investigative and training activities, mainly in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec and Saskatchewan. None of the officers or civilians are identified. Includes images taken at F Division in Regina, Saskatchewan including an aerial view of the site and an exterior view of the RCMP Chapel in winter. Modes of transportation depicted include airplanes; helicopters; Harley-Davidson motorcycles; snowmobiles (ski-doo); boats and squad cars. A few of the images were taken by the Government of Saskatchewan Photographic Services agency.

(2) Item is an image of a stone cottage with a smaller stone barn on proper right side of image. In front of the barn are several chickens and a carriage.
