Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) weekly news magazine program entitled Across Canada, Prairie Edition with Joe Mauro. Program includes segment on mental illness and psychiatric hospitals with Craig Oliver interviewing Kioshi Izumi, the architect/designer of the Yorkton Psychiatric Centre in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Izumi talks about his experiences after taking psychedelic drugs (LSD) in an attempt to understand schizophrenia and experience some of the symptoms that schizophrenic patients experience. Izumi also speaks about how his experiences with the drugs affected his design of the psychiatric hospital in Yorkton.
