[Agricultural conventions and exhibitions; businesses, buildings, events, farms in and around various Saskatchewan towns and cities]

The photographs focus mainly on agricultural conventions and exhibitions held in a variety of locations across western Canada, reflecting the interests of Western Producer readers. Some people attending these events are identified including Pierre Trudeau, Ross Thatcher, Louis "Scoop" Lewry, Clarence Barber, just to name a few. There are several views of streets, buildings, businesses, events and farms, mostly in and around Saskatchewan towns and cities but also includes some from Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia.

Hutterite Brethren

Items are images showing views of Dinsmore Hutterite colony, including slaughterhouse, garages, residences, blacksmith shop, and chicken and goose barns; and one image of the Pincher Creek Hutterite colony (1996).

Universities and Colleges

Images of: the Janss Steps located on the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) campus; buildings and barns on the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon; the Lutheran Collegiate Bible Institute at Outlook; Sir William's College in England; a college in Beijing, China with a statue of Mao Tse-tung (1893-1976); and the Bread Loaf campus at Middlebury College in Vermont.

Artwork of William George Reginald Hobbs

Photographs of paintings done by Dr. William G. Hobbs, a physician, surgeon and artist who resided in Gainsborough, Saskatchewan. The paintings were submitted to the Saskatchewan Olympics and the Arts Selection Committee for an art exhibition at the Olympics in Montreal, Quebec in 1976.

Scenes of the William Robert Bell farm

Items are four photographs depicting scenes from the William Robert Bell farm:
(1) Item is an image of the round stone barn, portable wooden granaries, sulky plows, and a wagon. Standing on proper left of image is a man wearing a dark jacket, identified as William Robert Bell. Two additional subjects are visible in image, but are unidentified; first subject is position between the portable granaries and the second is in the doorway of the barn.

(2) Item is an image of a horse and six men in front of the stone headquarters house on the Bell farm. Lone figure positioned on proper left of image is identified as William Robert Bell.

(3) Item is an image of a First Nations young woman with a wooden barn on the proper left of the image.

(4) Item is an image of First Nations man standing in front of a teepee (tipi), with an additional teepee on either side of the image. Beside the teepee on the proper right of image is a Red River cart.

Items are photographs depicting different buildings on the William Robert Bell family farm:
(1) Item shows two cottages with wood-frames, vertical siding, and wooden (cedar?) shingles. Lone woman is standing in the doorway of a nearest building and a man and woman stand next to second building.

(2) Item is an image of a stone cottage with a smaller stone barn on proper right side of image. In front of the barn are several chickens and a carriage.
