Item is an image showing old style harvesting operation north of Canora on Highway No. 9. A Threshing machine blows straw into piles and the threshed wheat is stored in wooden granary.

Items are images of various types of agricultural machinery, including binders, tractors, steam tractors, swathers, hay wagons and combines.

Two scanned images of Noah Thomas Selby's threshing operations at Grand Coulee, Saskatchewan. None of the threshing crew members are identified.

According to information provided by the donor, Edwin P. Hadden farmed in the Melfort, Saskatchewan district before enlisting in World War One and serving in France. After the War, he served as Chief of Police in Melfort and in the late 1920s, he joined the police force of the Canadian National Railways (CNR) in Melville. In the late 1930s, he served with the police force in Saskatoon before moving to Calgary, Alberta and enlisting in World War Two.
