Herbert as Director of Historic Sites under the Saskatchewan Jubilee Committee, 1953-1955, and thereafter in the Department of Natural Resources until his retirement on July 31, 1956. The first section contains files relating to individual historic sites in Saskatchewan. The second section consists of files relating to the administration of the historic sites program.
