Documentary: Video production takes of old black and white footage depicting the construction of a bridge and the digging of a hole (for a lake?). As well, there is a short segment entitled "Inspection of Girl Guides and Brownies at the Government House, Regina 1927" which is followed by (seemingly) random shots of hunting, trains, sports and other unidentified events.

In addition there is a (seemingly) separate segment (c. 4 mins) that documents the average Irish home life (in Saskatchewan?) along with a piece of footage (c.1 min) entitled "Seattle Outboard Race." This segment is followed by a collection of old footage (c. 10 mins) depicting several recreational events. The film reel concludes with several segments of colour footage (c. 20 mins) depicting farmland, highways and various unidentified events. NOTE: this description is generated from a VHS copy of the original. Consequently, the segment described above may not be on the original video reel.

Digital copies of a memoir, written by William D. Roberts entitled, "From North Wales by Easy Stages via Virginia, Wisconsin and Saskatchewan, to Victoria, Vancouver Island" and accompanying photographs. Roberts details his experiences while homesteading in the Medstead, Saskatchewan district, serving in the First World War, during his career as a railway mail clerk, and other life experiences from 1896 to 1981, shortly before his death. Photographs depict Roberts in 1915, 1928 and in the 1930s.
