Hinz, Joseph A.

A handwritten memoir of Joseph A. Hinz, 1894-1983. In 1892 his parents left Berlin, Germany and went to the United States for about 16 years then settled in Muenster, Saskatchewan in 1908.

Reminiscences of his childhood in Germany, his journey to Canada, farming experiences near Edenwold and Lumsden and his involvement with Saskatchewan Wheat Pool, the Farmers Union, Saskatchewan Grain Growers Association, co-operative associations, etc. File also includes a postscript to the Mueller reminiscences, written by Robert Wagner.
