Excerpts from the publication entitled, Another Garland from the Front (issues Mark III and Mark IV), a year book of the 5th Canadian Battalion (Western Cavalry) Saskatchewan Regiment, also known as the Red Saskatchewans. The 5th Battalion was originally comprised of: the 12th Manitoba Dragoons; 16th Light Horse, Saskatchewan; 27th Light Horse Saskatchewan; 29th Light Horse Saskatchewan; 30th British Columbia Horse; 31st British Columbia Horse; 35th Central Alberta Horse; and the Corps of Guides. Includes listings of honours, awards and distinctions presented to Battalion members.
