Documentary presented by Rough Cuts, CBC Newsworld's documentary series. The documentary premiered on television on November 29, 1997 and profiles Murray Brace and Gary Hyland. Brace is a promoter trying to keep the Moose Jaw Diamond Dogs, a pro-baseball team, playing despite struggles with city council and monetary issues. Hyland, a poet, is organizing The Prairie Festival of Words with involvement from Peter Gzowski and Rex Murphy. The documentary was directed by Jeff Beesley and produced by Gordon McLennan for Reel Eye Media Inc. in association with CBC Newsworld.
