Scarborough's new map of the Dominion of Canada, showing the country's provinces, territories and the colony of Newfoundland. Includes: railways and steamship lines; principal cities, villages and stations; and distances between principal stations, in miles. Index includes population data for each of the provinces and territories, as well as Newfoundland, and population data and map coordinated for locations within each of the jurisdictions, based on 1911 census data. The verso of the map shows maps pertaining to the conflict of the First World War, including: the Western Campaign; the Italian Campaign; the scene of the Western battles along the Franco-Belgian-German frontiers; the Western Theatre; the Eastern Theatre; and the Asiatic Campaigns. Also included on the verso are maps of: the British Isles; Europe; Southeastern Europe (Italy, Austria-Hungary, Balkan States and Turkey); Austro-Italian Boundary; and Constantinople and Vicinity (Dardanelles, Sea of Marmora and Bosporus).
