Item component are notes by editor of Saskatchewan History, Myrna Williams on the imporance of poetry, journals, and diaries are for an understanding experinces of the Great War, a summary of the contents of the issue, including acknowledgements and brief summaries of articles. Component is supplemented by a photograph oshowing a form letters intedned for soldiers to write home, and a letter sen from Soldiers' Christian Association Camp Camp (Bramshott Camp). Component appears on pages 4 and 5.

Black album with Elsie & Pat embossed in gold on the cover. The album consists mainly of images of the wedding of Elsie May Barr and Pierre (Pat) Clay (both of Regina, Saskatchewan) on February 2, 1946 at St. Michael's Church, South Lancing, Sussex, England. At the time of their marriage, Pat Clay was serving with the Royal Canadian Artillery (RCA) and Elsie Barr with the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps (RCAMC) as a nurse. Includes images of their honeymoon; a programme and photograph of the University of Manitoba Commerce Grads' Farewell on March 7, 1950 at the Fort Garry Hotel, Winnipeg; and four sheets of illustrations drawn by Pat Clay.
