The Front of Steel, Canada Increases Munitions Output

Newsreels: 1) THE FRONT OF STEEL: Describes Canada's contribution to the Allied war effort and the importance of Canadian industrial workers contribution in producing war equipment and materiel to fight World War Two. Includes footage of workers producing bren guns, military vehicles and ships, and of Adolf Hilter and the German army. It discusses the importance the National Research Council and its use of science in designing and producing modern war equipment. Lorne Green is the narrator.

2) CANADA INCREASES MUNITIONS OUTPUT: Describes the production of the bren guns at a Canadian munitions factory. Includes scenes of workers manufacturing guns.
