Records created, accumulated and used by Richard Loney (1877-1965) of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan relating to his professional career as a businessman in Moose Jaw in real estate and automobiles; his service in the Boer War; and his work as a recruiting officer during World War I. Includes stock certificates for shares in various businesses in Moose Jaw; newspaper clippings; advertisements of Manley, Loney and Co. and Richard Loney and Co., and biographical information.

Richard Loney was born in Ontario in 1877 and settled in Moose Jaw in 1906. He was active in the Moose Jaw community and served as president of the Moose Jaw Board of Trade.

Memoirs of George S. Tuxford

Typewritten memoirs of George Stuart Tuxford based on his personal diaries and letters written to his parents. Tuxford was born in Wales in 1870 and later emigrated to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, where he farmed and was active in the community. He died in Victoria, British Columbia in 1943.
