Currie family photograph album

Photograph album containing images of members of the Allan R. Currie family of the Pennant, Saskatchewan district and their relatives and neighbours; and views of Pennant, Saskatchewan, including various buildings and the construction of roads and sidewalks. Includes image of 17 Mile Bridge near Swift Current; exterior view of Swift Current City Hall; and railcar relating to Canadian Forestry Association's Tree Planting Campaign.

The photographs were taken with a Kodak Brownie box camera and are housed in a brown album with gold embossing reading Photographs: Souvenir of Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

Maxwell and Hanna families

Photographs of members of the Maxwell and Hanna families, mainly from two albums belonging to Alice (Maxwell) Hanna. Includes images of John Maxwell, Alice Maxwell, Leonard Maxwell, George Keith Hanna, Joe Hanna, Marjorie Jensen and Gladys Clark.

Image (1) is of a group of people gathered in front of Wagner School in 1925. Image (11) shows the Saskatchewan Pool elevator No. 366 in Dummer, Saskatchewan in 1954. Image (115) shows spectators in stands at the Moose Jaw Stampede in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in 1916. Images 57, 58, 62, 114, 131 and 132 show scenes in Ormiston, Saskatchewan.

Image (141) is an oversize aerial view of the George Keith Hanna farm, located at SW16-10-22-W2, five miles south of Truax, Saskatchewan ca. 1964. The farm was later operated by son Garnet Hanna.
