R. Doane of Regina, Saskatchewan, a miller born in 1895, recalls his childhood, involvement in World War I and work in various Saskatchewan flour mills from the early 1900s.

Ellen M. Drake of Regina, Saskatchewan, a teacher born in 1895, recalls her immigration from Ireland in 1912, impressions of Saskatchewan, homesteading experiences, work for the Indian Commission and entertainment in Regina.
