Records created, accumulated and used by Susan Risk relating to a proposed television documentary on the Saskatchewan Provincial Police, in operation in the province from 1917 to 1928. The documentary was never produced. Records include funding applications, correspondence, contracts, agreements, photographs, moving images and background research.

Documentary profiling Joan Bamford Fletcher, originally from Regina, Saskatchewan. Fletcher, who as an officer of the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry (FANY) during World War II, coordinated the evacuation of 2000 Dutch internees from a camp in Sumatra in 1945. Interviewees include: Beryl Escott, FANY squardon leader; Madge Tibbenham, Fletcher's sister; Lynette Beardwood, FANY Headquarters; Eleanor Minor Nicholls and Nora Byers Granjnert, FANY officers; René Pottkamp, historian with the Netherlands Institute of War Documentation; Lou Lanzing, Dutch internment camp survivor; Diana Lary, professor of Chinese history, University of British Columbia; Dean Oliver, senior historian, Canadian War Museum; and Rev. Jonathan Takeo Yokoyama, former Japanese military cadet. Documentary profiling Gladys Arnold, a Saskatchewan-born journalist who was the only Canadian Press correspondent in France during the outbreak of World War II, and covered the conflict until she was forced to flee upon the German occupation of France in 1940. Arnold returned to Canada and was an activist for the Free French movement. Interviewees include: Gladys Arnold; Barry Robins, cousin to Arnold; Kay Rex, journalist and author; Michel Bonneau, son of a Free French activist; Nelitta Geoffrey-Dechaume, Free French activist; and Eric Amyot, historian and author. Produced in association with History Television, SCN, and CBC Saskatchewan and marketed by Cooper Rock Pictures Inc. as part of its Canadian Women of Courage series.
