Learning Resource Centre Facilities Planning media kit
Media kit (KT-12) entitled Learning Resource Centre Facilities Planning, produced by SaskMedia (Saskatchewan Educational Communications Corporation) for Saskatchewan Education. The kit was designed to assist school trustees, administrators, teachers and librarians. The slide-audio cassette-booklet kit consists of two components: Form Follows Function, which relates to the concept that the function of the centre has to be determined before the form is established; and Functions Assume Form, which illustrates a method of systematically developing a resource centre floor plan.
The kit included participation by the teachers and students of Saskatoon (East) School Unit No. 41; Yorkton School Unit No. 36; Estevan School District No. 257; and Sacred Heart High School, Yorkton. The Department of Education consultant was Art Forgay. Producer was Bob Brockhill; writer was Joyce A. Beggs; photographer was Larry A. Todd; and audio recording technician was Brent Streeter.
