This series consists of records added to a time capsule that was placed in the corner stone of the Legislative and Executive Building of Saskatchewan as part of the ceremony marking the laying of the corner stone, held in Regina on October 4, 1909. The records were collected under the coordination of F.J. Robinson, Deputy Commissioner of Public Works, and included: documents related to the corner stone laying ceremony; government publications; reference publications and directories; newspapers published in Regina and Saskatoon; photographs; Canadian currency; a Holy Bible; architectural blueprints of the Legislative and Executive Building; a map of Saskatchewan; and a Union Jack flag. Also included is the copper box, crafted by local tinsmiths, that contained the time capsule items. The time capsule was opened by Premier Brad Wall and Dr. Gordon Barnhart, Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, on December 15, 2011.
