The records were created, accumulated and used by administrators of defunct school districts, school units and school divisions formerly located within the geographical boundaries of Prairie South School Division, including (but not limited to) Willow Bunch School Unit No. 4; Borderland School Unit No. 4; Gravelbourg School Unit No. 6; Moose Jaw School Division No. 1; and Thunder Creek School Division No. 78. The fonds includes records relating to schools in the City of Moose Jaw, as follows: Alexandra School; King George School; William Grayson School; and King Edward School. Researchers should search the file listing as not all geographical locations were entered into the place access points in this description.

The types of records included are correspondence; memoranda; cash books and other financial records; teachers' registers and lesson plans; budgets; inspectors' and superintendents' reports; photographs; plans; and a Union Jack flag in a wooden and glass frame originally displayed at King Edward School in Moose Jaw. The flag was lowered in 1965 and replaced with the newly designed Canadian flag.

The types of records included are correspondence; memoranda; photographs; architectural drawings; financial statements; budget materials; minutes; school newsletters; a photocopy of 'A History of Kitchener School and Regina School District No. 4 for 1912-1980' by Bessie Ellis; and news releases.

The collection includes the microfilmed contents of a box placed in the cornerstone of Wetmore School which includes the September 21, 1905 issue of The Daily Standard, Regina; an abstract from the minutes of a special meeting regarding letting contract dated August 13, 1913; names of school board members, officials and staff; and the 1911 annual report of the Regina Public School Board (reference code Micro. R-2.968).

This fonds consists of records created, accumulated and used by executive members of the Regina Chapter of the Superannuated Teachers of Saskatchewan.

R-E4004 includes a history of the Superannuated Teachers of Saskatchewan, Regina Chapter, 1971-1993, researched and compiled by Dr. Eleanor Bujea, April 1994; a pamphlet relating to SELO Seniors Community Centre in Regina; a songbook compiled by Elsie Mironuck in 1995; and a booklet entitled In the Beginning...A History of the Venture of the Superannuated Teachers of Saskatchewan, Regina Chapter, into Co-operative Housing, written by Pat Blenkinsop, February 1995.

The records in collection R-971.1 date from 1962 to 1997 and include articles; constitutions; correspondence; financial records; 1983-84 honour roll; meeting minutes; programmes; reports; resolutions; and biographical information on Mike Kartusch; Frederick W. Greenough; Gail Stewart; Wilfred Walker; Evelyn Switzer; Sister Ursula Righetti; Kay Beveridge; and Marjorie Estella Spicer.

The records in collection R-1445.2 date from 1992 to 2001 and include minutes, reports, a revised history of the Regina Chapter updated in 2002; and financial records. R-1445.2, file 4 consists of a group photograph of seven unidentified men and one woman; and photographs of a bus tour to the Great Sand Hills, Eastend, Cypress Hills and Fort Walsh on June 2 and 3, 1999. Included is an exterior view of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum Eastend Fossil Research Station.

F 731, Box 1 includes minutes of executive and assembly meetings from 2003 to 2016; and records relating to two Saskatchewan Centennial Projects initiated in 2005: a booklet entitled Saskatchewan Centennial School Tales: Memories from the Retired Teachers of Saskatchewan; and a play performed at the Performing Arts Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan on October 5, 2005 entitled The Little Red School House: A Look Back in Time: One Hundred Years of Teaching in Saskatchewan. The booklet includes information on Moose Jaw Normal School; Donamar School; Croydon School; and biographical information on Madeline Runyan; Alex Youck; Jessie Cameron; and Clarence Cantril.
