Matthew Doolin correspondence, biographical sketch, application for homestead patent
Records created by or pertaining to Matthew Doolin of Webb, Saskatchewan. Doolin served as a Private with the 102nd Battalion, Canadian Infantry during the Great War and was killed in action on April 9, 1917. Records include: letters written by Doolin from Camp Hughes, October 1, 1914 and on active service in France, February 9, 1917 to Chris Insland of Webb; a photocopy of Doolin's application for homestead patent, January 26, 1916; and a biographical sketch of Doolin that includes information on his estate.
