Archie Jamieson family fonds

This fonds consists of records created, accumulated and used by members of the Archie Jamieson family relating to their personal life and activities in Nova Scotia, Quebec, Saskatchewan and the North West Territories. Some of the records pertain to their experiences in various Canadian (gold) mining camps, including those located near Goldboro, Nova Scotia and Goldfields, Saskatchewan. The fonds also contains records created, accumulated and used by David Jamieson while researching and writing a four volume combined history of the mining industry and of his family entitled "The Gold Seekers."

The types of records included are correspondence and greeting cards (mainly between family members), postcards, photographs, legal documents, life insurance policies and receipts, mining inventory lists, income tax returns, diaries, maps, plans, audio and video cassettes, a technical drawing, manuscripts, and publications.

No series assignment has been applied to the records in this fonds.
